FNI along with Decayed and Moonspeel were part of the trident who represented the excellence and eccentricity of Southern Black Metal in Portugal, during the convulse prime of the second wave of Black Metal in the early 90's. The Lusitanian scene spawned its unique sonority as their coetaneous did in the shores of Greece and Italy, and Filii Nigrantium Infernalium were no exception. This anthology compiles both the quintessential “Os Métodos Do Pentagrama ' and Bactherion's (pre-FNI) “The Miracle of Death ' demos, with an extensive booklet featuring comprehensive liner notes and photos. Depicting an even rawer version of Hellhammer and Necroshizma, these recordings synthesize a notorious disturbing ma-niacal riffing Black Doom inferno of schizoid vocals and shrieky eerie atmospheres.
