For anyone involved in the deepest recesses of the true metal underground, MORBOSIDAD require little introduction. For over 30 years now, they've prolifically polluted that underground with uncompromising blackgrind that raises the same banners of OTT intensity that the original Brazilian wave in the ‘80s did.
Of their massive canon, arguably it is 2004's Cójete a Dios por el culo full-length that is the best, most belligerent encapsulation of the MORBOSIDAD experience. Their lineups may have been many over the years, but through it all, it's the inhuman throat of founding frontman Tomas Stench which raises their dark, disgusting surge to unmatched levels of depravity; seemingly, that throat comes a hundred different directions – at once – and always in his native Spanish tongue. On the 30-minute Cójete a Dios por el culo, their blackgrind is somehow simultaneously sharper and looser, lawless and bestial in a manner most “bestial metal” bands aren't able to approach. All this is topped off by a foul & filthy cover of Beherit's “Salomon's Gate” – a stellar choice given that “Gate of Nanna” has been done to death.
While the label last did a picture-disc version in 2009, Cójete a Dios por el culo is resurrected from purgatory by longtime MORBOSIDAD supporters HELLS HEADBANGERS, bringing this bestial mania to a new generation of degenerates.
