Two longtime allies within the Québec Black Metal scene, Monarque and Moribond, join forces to offer a joint album from their ambient projects. On Arcanes, Cimerion and Oublieth offer a journey filled with atmosphere and emotion, dedicated to two giants of ambient music who recently left us, Klaus Schulze and Vangelis. Rather than approach this opus in a classic “split album” way, the two collaborators have opted to compose a single soundtrack within which their tracks alternate in a very natural way while keeping their own uniqueness. Mostly recorded from analog synthesizers, Arcanes sees each group at the top of their game, in an album that will captivate listeners. CD edition strictly limited to 500 copies.
