DEKADENT have had a long career so far. From 2005 the Slovenian band released six albums and the new one, “Dionyst”, will mark their seventh opus, possibly the grandest so far. Always guided by the founding member Artur, the Slovenians will again unleash their recipe for extreme music, introspection and darkness, combining structured songs made of crescendos, hooks and a spectacular guitar-work. “Dionyst” is again bathed in a recognizable and enthralling melancholic sound, created by layers of synths, a pounding rhythm section, harsh vocals and emotional guitar breaks.
